A new co-operation
The new Lagoon 51 is about to roll off the line at Lagoon in France - and we are happy to announce that their latest and ultra-modern multihull offering is powered by Elvstrøm Sails!
Making the sails for the new Lagoon 51 is also a new adventure for Elvstrøm Sails. Having supplied Jeanneau and Beneteau monohulls for years, it was a natural progression for Elvstrøm Sails to deliver sails for catamarans - which makes this a new chapter to the long lasting relationship between Elvstrøm Sails France, Beneteau Group and now Lagoon.
Sustainability is key
This is set to happen with the new Lagoon 51, which is powered by Elvstrøm Dacron sails. Sustainability is a key subject to the French yard Lagoon which we underline at Elvstrøm Sails by additionally offering XRP Race sails for Lagoon. These are part of the EKKO option lineup - a type of sail which is made with films and polyester fibres made from recycled materials.
Elvstrøm Sails is also set to become the sole supplier of sails for the coming Lagoon 42.
