“We just wanted to let you know how delighted we are with our new headsail. We bought it to do the ARC and have been sailing with it for about eight months now, so we know it well. We spent a lot of money on various bits of kit for our transatlantic crossing, and although our sail was expensive, it was the best money that we spent. It sets beautifully, even when it is furled away to about the size of a storm sail. Worth every penny!” Julian Ronnie
Last year we were asked to quote for a heavy weather Dacron headsail for Domini, a Sun Odyssey 439 already entered for the ARC. In addition to their 105% jib, owners Julian and Lyn Ronnie felt they needed something smaller for strong Atlantic winds... Read more>

Leading sailing rally specialists World Cruising Club, organisers of the annual Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) have announced a partnership with leading sail makers Elvstrøm Sails, to share knowledge and experience with aspiring bluewater cruisers. In a typical year over 1.5 million ocean miles will be sailed by boats in World Cruising Club’s Atlantic and world circumnavigations, so having the right sails is vital for successful ocean voyages.
We love hearing from our customers. And Laura and Terje Moglestue often keep in touch with us about 'Maud', their Grand Soleil 42. Terje says,
"We have had another season with your sail. The new sails have just transformed Maud. She goes like a rocket! The amount of wind she can take before a reef is needed is phenomenal. Going close to wind the sails stands on 24 degrees!"
Laura and Terje - We wish you a great New Year and more Happy Sailing in 2015!
Our full felt congratulations to J109 Just So and her crew, for coming first overall in both the JOG Offshore and Inshore 2014 Class 4 series.
With an impressive set of results David McGough and his team will win 11 Trophies!
A very happy David, just back from this weekend's Owers Race, said, "We had everything yesterday, 5 to 19 knots, sunshine, heavy rain and hail. The thunder and lightning threatened but was always on the edges.
The wind shifts were huge and we played snakes and ladders with Jibe. However, in difficult conditions yesterday and even with only six of us and our revered tactician in bed ill, we managed another 1st out of 12 boats with Jibe two minutes behind. We were first overall on corrected time by 20 seconds out of 58 boats!
What a way to finish the season! Thank you all for all your support this year, it has been a great JOG year."
